Today is a great day for Dura. We're raising Premium today from $5.00 for 30 Days of Premium Account to $8.00. We've been waiting to do this for a long time but had certain benchmarks in mind before we felt comfortable asking this from you. We wanted to reach a point where we feel we have proven we are a Real Game that is not only fun and enjoyable but also something you can have faith in: that we're here to stay and your investments of both time and money are worth it.
We feel we have now proven that. Although far from perfect and a great deal to do, Dura is in our eyes the best gameplay experience it's ever been. It has demonstrated that it has stood the test of time and will continue to do so, as it has never been closed or reset. We have delivered not only a place that allows a rich and vibrant community to develop, but have brought a ready hand to improving and maintaining the game where flawed. Yet still more delivering, at many counts, on innovative game design through our countless new systems and features, and finally our custom update of The Kha'labal. All the while maintaining a server uptime and quality that rivals near all online games to say the least and an attentive and available Staff for players. Lastly and most importantly our principles and vision on game design experience which we set out with when we started making Dura over four years ago are unabandoned and our integrity for carrying Dura forward is firm.
While we are still more affordable than most of our genre's colleagues this raise in Premium Account represents for us a strong increase in funding allowing us to better develop and maintain the game for you. While there is undoubtedly still a great deal to do for Dura's future we are very proud of our achievements up to this time and feel nothing but eagerness as we look ahead to continue this journey, and with the increased resources this change will provide we are excited and confident how much better we will be able to do so.
