Patch Notes July 28th:

Greetings,

This patch is one link in a chain of balances and content additions that is in lead up to the Update. The following is part of a broader overhaul to Dura at large which is centered around the Official Update. This patch is massive. It is a significant portion of the Official Ankrahmun Update that is being Fast-Tracked; the reason for it being fast-tracked will be covered briefly in a Dev-Blog. Possibly the best way to describe it's size is that it is the size of a full update; as stated before the Ankrahmun Update is the size of 3-5 six-Month installment updates.



u  New forms of damage, ability, and magic introduced.

u  All monsters changed. Some more than others.
                     Every monster is susceptible and resistant to new types of damage or have old forms of damage modified.
                     Loot tables of various monsters changed.
                     Mechanics of various monsters changed.

u  Spawns changed.
                     Demona.
                     Draconia.
                     Venore Dragon Lair.                   
 
u  Damage Formula's rebalanced for higher level characters.
                     To give a little detail someone level 100 will not be affected by this at all.

u  Paladin's have had minimum damage added to their projectiles.

u  Maximum Defense Battle Stance defensive ability increased.

u  New spells added.

u  New items added.

u  Current items modified.

u  New supplies added to Realm's Aid.

u  Cap on Realm's Aid added. So at a certain point one will not keep an increase as their power rises.

u  New exchange system added.

u  Great Fireball Rune modified in PvP and PvE. The spell for PvP and PvE work differently.
                        For each target hit the spell will do more total damage but smaller damage to each target itself.
                        The spell's essential damage has been decreased.

u  Ancient Great Fireball Rune modified in PvP and PvE. The spell for PvP and PvE work differently.
                       For each target hit the spell will do more total damage but smaller damage to each target itself.
                       The spell's essential damage has been decreased.

u  Fireball Rune modified in PvP and PvE. The spell for PvP and PvE work differently.
                      For each target hit the spell will do more total damage but smaller damage to each target itself.

u  Energy Wave modified in PvP and PvE.
                      For each target hit the spell will do more total damage but smaller damage to each target itself.

u  Fire Wave modified in PvP and PvE.
                      For each target hit the spell will do more total damage but smaller damage to each target itself.

u  Energy Beam modified in PvP and PvE.
                      For each target hit the spell will do more total damage but smaller damage to each target itself.

u  Great Energy Beam modified in PvP and PvE.
                      For each target hit the spell will do more total damage but smaller damage to each target itself.

u  Ultimate Explosion modified in PvP and PvE.
                      For each target hit the spell will do more total damage but smaller damage to each target itself.
                      The spell's essential damage and mana cost have both been greatly decreased.

u Incantations for these spells have been changed:
                      Ultimate Explosion
                      Energy Wave
                      Heavy Magic Missile Rune
                      Sudden Death Rune
